In Shimla Manali there are many offbeat places which are too beautiful to ignore or not to know about but one can only spare a limited time at once.
Most of the visitors think Shimla Manali need only 4 to 5 days to cover. Though within 5 days you will cover famous places like Shimla, Kullu, Kufri, Manali and Rohtang pass but that’s that. Only Shimla will require at least 5 days to cover a vast exploration. So before planning your tour properly check which places you wants to cover and also take help from local tour operators. Normally if you are going with famous places than 7 days should be enough.
Kufri : Kufri is 30 minutes away from the main Shimla city which is knowing for adventure activities and beautiful scenery.
Naldhara: Naldhara is approx one hour away from main Shimla city. In Naldhara you can do horse riding and also enjoy the jungle walk. There is also a golf course.
Chail: Chail will take more then one hour to reach. A beautiful sceneric view with thick deodar forest on the way to Chail.
Hatu peak: Hatu peak in Narkanda which will take 2 hours to reach. In winter there is snow there but main attraction is temple of Hatu Mata.
Tatapani: Tatapani is famous for hot water spring and for River rafting . Shimla to Tatapani will take 2 hours to reach.
In Shimla city there are lot of famous places like Mall road, jakhoo temple, advance study, Army museum, Tara Devi temple and many more. All these places are in between 5 Km radius so within single day you can cover all these places easily.
Manali is far away from Chandigarh or Delhi and it will take 10 to 15 hours to reach. Manali is combination of natural beauty and adventure opportunity. Manali is also Known as Valley of Gods means in ancient time this place was very religious and have the relation with many deaties. In Manali there are beautiful cottages and villas with reasonable rates.
Rohtang pass: Rohtang pass is highest peak in Manali. From Manali to Rohtang pass will take one hour atleast. Rohtang pass is the main attraction of Manali. Snow activities and beautiful scenery view are the main highlights of Rohtang pass.
Solang valley: solang valley comes on the way to Rohtang pass. In Solang valley you can enjoy the ropeway, horse riding and other sports activities.
Kullu : Kullu is approx 40 km before from main city Manali. Kullu is old city which is famous for River rafting, shopping and paragliding.
Manikaran Manali to Manikaran will take 2 Hours. Hot water spring and amazing view of Beas river is the main attraction here.
Trekking: In Manali there are lot of trekking and campaign areas like trek to Bijli Mahadev, solang valley to Rohtang pass, Manali to Hamta valley etc.
In Manali local Hadimba temple, Vashisht temple, Manu temple, Vanvihar are some famous places which are in 5 km radius within one day you can cover all these places.
